Potato Genetic Resources of Vavilov All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Industry
The N.I. Vavilov All-Russian Research Institute of Plant Industry (VIR) celebrates the 100th anniversary of K.Z. Budin – Russian plant scientist, potato breeder, Head of the Department of Potato at VIR 1979–1997. VIR celebrates this memorial date by organizing the Conference “Potato Genetic Resources of VIR’ collection in modern potato breeding”, which will be held in St.-Petersburg, Russia, on 28 – 29 July 2009.
