We are pleased to announce that the EAPR Pathology and Pests Section Meeting will be held in Oulu, Finland, hosted by the colleagues from Luke (Natural Resources Institute Finland) in the week of 5-8 July 2026. The conference will also include a wireworm workshop on Sunday, 5 July - please save the dates!
The conference program will cover a broad range of topics related to potato diseases and pests such as ‘Late blight, Soil-borne Diseases, Bacterial Diseases, Nematodes and other Pests, Soil Microbes and Disease Resilience, Biological Control and Pest Management’.

The Pathology and Pests Section promotes interactions and communication among people involved in all aspects of Potato Plant Protection. The exchange of information, discussions and development of concepts associated with potato diseases and pests, is done mainly in the Section Meetings taking place during each triennial conference and once in-between these meetings. The general aim of Section Meetings is to bring together researchers, students and company representatives to discuss pathological and entomological aspects of potato production.
